he sold to chris, a guy from boston who smokes cigars, has tattoos, drives a big black truck and commercial fishes for stripers and tuna. so he kind of fits the old school profile of a tackle shop owner. he is expanding his inventory, will continue to have the vacation crowd stuff and the middle of the road average person stuff, but will also carry some more higher end reels, rods, plugs etc.fresh bait, eels etc as well. will offer epirb as well as life raft inspection/repacking dropoff services, dropoff, come back in a week and done, dealing directly with the pros who do that stuff. can hardly wait to check it out when we return to cape. bravo to both men.paul is a great guy and wish him well.good luck to chris and his new venture.he needs to brighten up the sign out front so folks will see the shop better.with the traffic coming off the light at the salt pond center heading north it’s tough to see prior to flying by and trying to turn into his shop and the campground sign in front too. hope the shop does well under the new owner. it is a great location, and he should continue to do well, especially expanding the inventory.
