accenture veteran technology training program reddit

i just finished the course and wanted to give anyone interested a bit of a summary. i released from active duty back in november of 2014 and immediately began a second bachelor’s program in computer science. i was super excited for this course because i needed an entry level refresher on java programming anyways. so the way i figured, even if i didn’t get hired, i was getting a free course that i honestly wanted to take anyways. i learned more in the 5 weeks it took me to complete than in any of my previous cs courses. so definitely 10/10 would recommend as far as the course goes! now as far as the accenture hiring is concerned i was mislead a bit, and some of that might be contributed to my own ignorance. the way it was described to me when i was accepted is that once you complete the udacity course, you are guaranteed an interview.
