it just depends on the fighter, but i would wager that the majority of them do some type of lifting. the don’t lift weights in a fashion which isolates muscles for growth. as far as actual weights go (and not what these other guys mentioned – battle ropes, tires etc), a lot incorporate power and olympic lifts into their training. these actions of the site admins have led to censorship and the arbitrary removal of any content they dislike. as an act of protest, i have chosen to redact all the comments i’ve ever made on reddit, overwriting them with this message. they want high weight/low reps so they build strength within the muscles instead of hypertrophy.
